Bzzzzt! was a band of me (nat hawks), damian vallelonga, and john burns. Syracuse, NY, late 90's.

we formed Bzzzzt! one night sitting around bored and decided to make a joke band to play a local open mic night. we got together our casio's and ran them through a mixer. john and damian played on the keyboards and i manipulated the eq. the original idea was that our name was different everytime, but we eventually landed on "Bzzzz!" we played a loft show in Buffalo, NY once and a guy on acid came up to us afterwards very excited. we also played a few more times in Syracuse (Metaphorestry gallery and Noise Fest).

on a roadtrip to House of Guitars in Rochester, NY in our college years i noticed an old, dusty four-track recorder sitting in a corner. i splurged and bought it. at home we started tinkering. this is the first home-recording project i ever did. we had hours of random jams i put a lot of time into the sequencing.

the tools were basic: casio's, a guitar signal processor, and a four-track recorder.

this was a tape only release from around 1998. maybe made around 20 copies.
